Patient Arrival Protocol

To limit the amount of people in the office at one time, please arrive to your appointment no more than 5 minutes prior to your scheduled time. If you are early, please wait in your car until the scheduled time or call the office to see if we can accommodate you right away.

Patients will be screened a second time for COVID-19. Patients showing signs or symptoms of illness, or exposure to COVID-19, will be asked to reschedule their appointments.

Patients and visitors are to wear their own mask at all times while in the office except during the provision of care. Patients who arrive without a mask will be provided one by staff prior to entering the office.

Patients (and guests) are required to perform hand hygiene with hand sanitizer upon entering the office.

Individuals accompanying a patient are asked to wait outside the practice unless absolutely required.

Waiting area chairs will be spaced to allow for 6 feet of distancing.

Except as needed when providing care, a physical distance of at least 2 meters will be enforced between all people in the office.

Magazines and children’s toys have been removed from the waiting area.

Common areas will be cleaned and sanitized throughout the day.

During Dental Care

All staff will be screened daily for COVID-19 symptoms and possible contact with COVID-19 positive persons.

Procedure appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided for all clinical and administrative staff including, N95 (or equivalent) masks, face shields, gowns, gloves, and other protective equipment as required.

Operatories are cleaned and disinfected between each patient appointment.

“Fallow time” is allotted following completion of clinical care before cleaning and disinfection procedures.
